"In all Languages" is a great retrospective of Godflesh's music, though. This CD would be great for a Godflesh novice, who may have heard of the band, but not know much about them. I can't argue with the track choices (especially since my favorite song, "Flowers", is on disc 2)/5(14).

The album sold under expectations, and that coupled with MTV banning the music video of its lead single, "Crush My Soul", led to Columbia dropping support of Godflesh. [11] [13] Regardless of the disappointing commercial performance of Selfless, Broadrick considers that album and all of the preceding releases as Godflesh's best material.
